Acadiana rapper Eric "Vicious" Johnson has been sentenced to 16 years in prison in connection with the 2012 shooting death of 43 year old Ray Ryan. The sentence is not the result of a murder conviction. Johnson was convicted, in March, of Inciting a riot with death. It's an unusual charge.

Authorities Raided Lipsticks Gentlemen's Club late Thursday night. Nine individuals were arrested, including the owner. Five others are being sought. The raid was the result of an 8 month investigation, involving the Lafayette Police department, FBI, ATF, Metro Narcotics, The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department, and Lafayette Fire Department.
