I'm a lifelong Louisiana resident who grew up in New Orleans and moved to Lafayette to go to college. While studying for a degree in Broadcasting and working weekends in radio, I fell in love with Acadiana and decided to stay put after graduation. I've been on the radio in Acadiana since 1977. I grew up in a place where it snows, but I've spent nearly my entire adult life in Acadiana and it's the place I'm pleased to call home. I raised my children here, and my grandson Nathan is growing up here. When I was a kid, my brothers & I would "camp out' on the porch on summer nights, listening to a portable AM radio. John “JayCee” Falcon has been with 99.9 KTDY for the past 12 years. A native of Abbeville, he got his ‘radio’ feet wet at KROF after having served 5 years in the United States Army.
