‘Lipsticks’ Gentlemen’s Club Raided

Authorities Raided Lipsticks Gentlemen's Club late Thursday night. Nine individuals were arrested, including the owner. Five others are being sought. The raid was the result of an 8 month investigation, involving the Lafayette Police department, FBI, ATF, Metro Narcotics, The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department, and Lafayette Fire Department. KATC reports, the proprietor, Mohammed Ali Makki, faces 1 count of running a disrderly place, and 10 counts of obscenity. The others face charges including unlawful sale of alcohol to a minor, prostitution, obscenity, and drug distribution.
