Brandon Comeaux

I've lived in the Carencro/Lafayette area all my life. From the food, to the people, to the area sports teams, no matter where I visit, this area is my home and I love it. As a news reporter at Newstalk 96.5 FM KPEL, I really enjoy being able to keep our listeners informed on the news of the day, whether it’s local, state or national. In addition to this, I do website work and behind the scenes stuff that keeps the station running. The most fun thing I get to do at KPEL, though, is being able to do color commentate the Courtesy Automotive Game of the Week. As I said, I love sports, so getting to cover our local sports teams is a real treat for me. On ESPN 1420, I am the host of "Off The Bench," a sports talk show that covers everything from high school athletics to the Cajuns to the Saints to whatever else is happening in the world of sports!
