Lafayette Consolidated Government put out a press release today that advises Lafayette Parish residents to stay off of the roads unless travel is necessary. They are also letting the parish know that the Town of Duson will be under curfew beginning at 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 12, 2020.

With several locations around Lafayette Parish still without power after Hurricane Delta, Mayor-President Josh Guillory is strongly encouraging all Parish residents that are not under curfew to limit travel to absolutely necessary situations.

With several utility and debris removal crews still working at cleaning up the Parish, it's important for them to continue recovery operations without the risk of putting themselves or residents in harms way.

The Town of Duson will be under curfew beginning at 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 12, 2020 and ending at 6:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 13, 2020. During this time, only essential and emergency personnel will be allowed to travel in Duson.
