Lafayette Commuters Say Leaving Early is Key Arrival Time
(Lafayette, Louisiana) - If you commute to or around Lafayette, you probably already know that it can be very hectic. Now, some commuters are revealing the secret to arriving on time with less stress.
The morning commute, especially with school buses back on the roads, can be very stressful and even feel slow-moving.
So, as the kids return to school and traffic really begins to pick up in the morning, I asked some of my colleagues what the "secret" is to arriving at work on time now that there's much more traffic on the roads.
Tips to Arrive on Time in Traffic
The secret may seem pretty simple, but it does require changing your morning routine by just a few minutes. And I know how difficult that can be for some, especially those with kids.
Each of those I spoke to says that if you want to arrive at work or anywhere you're going on time, you need to leave your house or apartment by FIVE minutes.
Each person I spoke to said the exact same amount of time to leave early, and no, they did not know I was asking them the same question.
My colleagues swear that if you start your morning commute five minutes earlier than you normally do, it will ease the stress of driving through Lafayette in the morning.

So, if you struggle to arrive at work or your kid's school on time, try what my colleagues swear by: leave your home five minutes earlier than you do now and see if those few extra minutes ease the stress of driving during the morning commute.
Now, I did ask them what happens if you leave five minutes late, and none of my colleagues said a word, but by the look on their faces... it has to be painful to arrive at your morning destination on time.
