New Iberia, Louisiana named in top 12 places to visit, according to an article on CNN International's CNNGO. com.  New Iberia's Main Street is one of 12 places featured on it's list of "12 timely reasons to hit the United States in 2012".

Sometimes we take what we have in our back yards for granted so it's nice when we get reminded of the beauty and charm lurking just down the road.  New Iberia was the first place I lived after getting married many moons ago, but 'The Berry' has never left my heart.  The people, the food, the festivals and of course, the music!

New Iberia has an undeniable southern charm that is second to none.  From the majestic antebellum homes to the moss hanging from the oaks, New Iberia, Louisiana is deserving of  a spot in the top 12.
