Country Superstar Martina McBride headlines the 2015 concert to benefit Miles Perrett Cancer Services October 28th. The event will be at Parc International in downtown Lafayette.

The event is an "Anything Goes" Black Pot Cook-Off, meaning that if you cook it in a black pot, it's eligible for the competition!

Josh Ardoin is battling a rare and aggressive bone cancer.

Hero Hunts is a local organization, based in Maurice, La. Their mission is to reintroduce local veterans to the outdoor life they enjoyed before being injured while serving our country.

Our friend V.J. "Boo Boo" Boulet, the former owner of Boo Boo's Nightclub, needs our help. He had a stroke a while back, and has piled up some medical bills. Boo Boo says he gets around Ok, but isn't quite back to feeling his old self. Some of Acadiana's musical legends are getting together Sunday afternoon to raise money for his medical expenses and have fun doing it.

UL Lafayette Up 'Til Dawn organization is having their inaugural Chili Cookoff to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at Cajun Harley Davidson, January 25, 2014. There will be a $5 entrance fee for all-you-can-eat chili. Awards will be given out at 1:30 for the best chili, and you can still register to partake in the event, with no registration fees...

Doran & Cawthorne Law Firm and Frank's Downtown in Opelousas have joined forces for the 8th year in a row to hold a gumbo cookoff. The annual event is held to benefit a local cancer patient. This year's beneficiary is 8-month-old Brynn Reviere.
