Join FLASh and Wild Cat Foundation for Rock’n for Rescue at Whiskey River Landing in Henderson, LA on Saturday November 23, 2013 from 2:00pm-6:00pm for a day of music, food and fun, all to benefit the less fortunate animals in our area.

Grammy nominated Geno Delafose and French Rockin Boogie start the day off at 2:00pm and are followed by Jeffery Broussard and the Creole Cowboys at 4:00pm. The Chef Gregory Food Truck will be there serving their award winning pulled pork sandwich, caesar salad shrimp on a spinach wrap, pulled pork nachos and farmers market salad with Louisiana gulf shrimp.  During the day’s festivities, we will be raffling a stunning sterling silver Mignon Faget  fleur de lis pendant.  And a $25 bar tab will be awarded as a door prize.
FLASh is a non-profit organization working to reduce the number of homeless animals at Lafayette Animal Control Center (LACC), through adoption events, community involvement, public education, fundraising, and by offering assistance to families with pets. The goal of FLASh is to bring the Lafayette area to a day of no more homeless pets.
Wild Cat Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to end the use of euthanasia as a means to control animal over population by providing affordable spay/neuter to all pet owners and feral cat caregivers in a safe and humane environment. In addition, they consistently demonstrate the effectiveness of Trap-Neuter-Return, in hopes that it becomes the only choice for managing homeless cats. Through awareness and availability, they believe people will embrace positive solutions.
