The folks at United Blood Services report donations are down. There is a particular need for type O negative red cell donations and type AB plasma donations. October is, of course, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Donate in October, and receive a "Fearless" stadium cup & a "monsters Are Real" T-shirt while supplies last. Cancer patients are often in need of platelet and red cell transfusions to counter the effects of chemotherapthy, and radiation.
