A permit was granted to a group of people in Evangeline Parish for a protest in front of a detention center, it was cut short due to weather conditions.

The Bloodstained Men & Their Friends, an anti-circumcision activist group, are launching a week-long protest across South Louisiana, beginning in Lafayette on February 5. The group aims to raise awareness about what they call a violation of human rights.

Like many college campuses around the country, Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana is having to address protests on campus.
