Almost 65% of Americans have made New Year's resolutions related to fitness:

Eating healthier, getting in better shape and losing weight top the list, followed by exercising more at home and outdoors, eliminating certain foods from diets and going to the gym more.

Anything seems possible in January, but most of those new to working out have given up before the six month mark. Long-time members resent having to wait for machines while the newbies use them. According to the new survey by CouponCabin.com, more than 50% of of those responding said that the "new Year's Resolution crowd" makes going to the gym an unpleasant experience.
