Lafayette Is America’s ‘Best Small Town For Food’

Rand McNally has named Lafayette, La. "America's Best Small Town For Food" in their "Best Of The Road Rally" for 2011.

Amateur travellers were sent out to find the best small towns in America for five different categories, Most Beautiful, Most Patriotic, Friendliest, Most Fun, and Best For Food.  The "Eat Lafayette" campaign is currently in full swing, showcasing the fare of 50 of Acadiana's restaurants, now through August 15th.  Here in Lafayette, we are justly proud of our fine cuisine and it's nice to see the the excellence of Acadiana's finest cooks recognised nationally.
