(Lafayette, Louisiana) - Another popular restaurant in Lafayette has announced that it is closing its doors for good.

Times are rough for many, and if you are in the service industry, you know what we are talking about. Sadly, another restaurant in our community willl be closing its doors for good, and now they are thanking Acadiana for the great 3.5 years of business.

Shane’s Famous Quesadilla Burgers on Congress Street announced on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, that after much praying, they've decided to close their doors for good.

In their social media post, the restaurant had this to say to all who have supported them through the years:

"To every customer, employee, friend, and family member who supported us along the way—thank you. Your love and support meant more than you’ll ever know."

Their final day of operation will be on Friday, July 3, 2026. The restaurant and its owner invite everyone in for one last time to enjoy their favorites.
