(Lafayette, Louisiana) - The University of Florida recently fired Coach Billy Napier, but that has not stopped some UL Ragini Cajun fans from offering their support for their former head football coach.

Napier left UL football to pursue an opportunity with the Florida Gators, and things just never panned out for Napier in Florida. That was after much success in Lafayette with the Cajuns.

One player that Caoch Napier allowed while at UL was Kyren Lacy, who would ultimately transfer to LSU and have an excellent collegiate career.

Sadly, Kyren Lacy took his own life in Texas after being accused of killing an elderly man in a fatal crash on Louisiana Highway 20. Still, that has not stopped Kyren's father from showing his support for those who helped his song along the way.

In a social media post after Coach Napier was fired from Florida, Kenny Lacy said that he will always appreciate Coach Napier for giving his son, Kyren, a chance when no one else would. And this is what it's all about, supporting those when they are down after they've paved the road for you or someone you love.

Here's the social media post that so many are applauding, even after Coach Napier was let go from his job.

As a Ragin Cajun, Kyren Lacy had ten touchdowns in 2020 and 2021, and had a total of 668 yards in two years. While with LSU, Lacy had a total of 17 touchdowns and was projected to be drafted early in the NFL Draft.
