Over 35 thousand pounds of raw ground beef products from JBS USA's North Carolina plant and distributed to Kroger stores across the country are being recalled because the packages may contain plastic. After a consumer found chips of hard blue plastic in a package, the company issued the recall order. The beef was produced on March 22nd with a sell-by date of April 9th and is under the labels Kroger and Laura brands. If you have any of this beef, you should throw it away. The packages involved are three and one-pound packages of Kroger and Laura brand beef. Fifteen-pound cases of JBS ground beef Angus chuck were recalled, as well. The beef was distributed to stores in  North Carolina, Virginia, Eastern West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky, and Southeastern Ohio. More Kroger Recalls HERE.
