Jim Deggy’s Brick Oven Pizza and Brewery Closes Doors in Lafayette
(Lafayette, Louisiana) - A downtown Lafayette business has reportedly closed its doors for good, and now employees are left looking for a new gig.
Our media partners at Acadiana News First are reporting that Jim Deggy’s Brick Oven Pizza and Brew House closed on Saturday, Sept. 26.

Employees were reportedly told a few days ago about the closure plans, while owners decide the business's future.
The business, which opened in 2024, was located at the corner of Jefferson and Cypress streets, a spot previously home to Dat Dog, which is at the underpass in the district.
A listener said they drove by the location in downtown Lafayette and that the building now appeared empty.

ANF has no word on why the business closed, but if Jim Deggy’s Brick Oven Pizza and Brew House makes an announcement, we will share it here and update this story as more information on the closure becomes available.
Some on social media said it was one of their favorite places to eat, and they're sad to see it go. Personally, we always enjoyed the food and atmosphere here too.
We do know the business hasn't been open in downtown Lafayette recently.
