Houston, Texas, the 4th largest city in the United States is underwater this morning. Hurricane Harvey's winds and rains have caused devastation, destruction and heartbreak for over 6 million people. And Harvey's wrath isn't over yet.

Texas has been absolutely hammered, with rainfall totals in some areas reaching almost 40 inches, while areas of Louisiana are approaching 10".

Iberia Sheriff's Dept says "Drivers who operate their vehicles in these areas and cause damage to homes and businesses will be arrested."

Stafford Barnett, who you may know from KPEL's Winging-It Wednesday, and whose home flooded last August, has come up with a way to protect his home by using a unique device that he built. He was kind enough to share pictures, and instructions on how to build one for yourself.

The Louisiana Cajun Navy has touched down in Houston.

La. Gov. John Bel Edwards has requested President Donald Trump declare an Emergency Disaster for Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jefferson Davis, and Vermilion Parishes as a result of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey.
