The "Work Pay$" Job Fair will be held on Thursday, October 25, at the Heymann Center. This job fair is designed to help bridge the needs of the business community with the employment needs of citizens with disabilities who are job-ready and looking for work.

The Autism Society of Acadiana’s Mini-Grant Program has been in existence since 2006. This program is one way Autism Society of Acadiana continues to give back to the community, assisting educators who work closely with children who are on the autism spectrum in public and private schools.

This inaugural fundraiser is to benefit the "Sky's The Limit Of Acadiana" and "D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana" by raising money to develop a residential community for special needs adults in Acadiana.

Unfortunately, they are canceling Compete 4 a Cause tomorrow due to the impending rain. They will reschedule the whole day and let you know when it will be!
It’s always exciting to see a young prodigy rock out on a musical instrument (especially since we can barely carry a tune ourselves). But six-year-old pianist Ethan Walmark is all the more impressive since he has Autism Spectrum Disorder and has been playing songs by ear since the tender age of four.
