Autism Society Of Acadiana's Mini-Grant Program Deadline Fast Approaching

The Autism Society of Acadiana’s Mini-Grant Program has been in existence since 2006.  This program is one way Autism Society of Acadiana continues to give back to the community, assisting educators who work closely with children who are on the autism spectrum in public and private schools.  No single application by an individual or group may exceed $1000.  The Mini-Grant Committee of parents and professionals examines all fully completed applications received by the deadline.  The program is restricted by funds available in each year’s budget.  To date, Autism Society of Acadiana has distributed over $73,000 in funding to almost 140 recipients.
Educators in the parishes of Acadia, Avoyelles, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermilion are eligible to submit applications.  Homeschooling programs are not eligible to submit an application for the mini-grant program.
