There's a difference between a little burnt and burnt. Some foods that are a tiny bit burnt are just plain good. Foods that are burnt generally aren't. A little burnt around the edges or the top can give some foods a taste that Cajuns really like.

We took to social media to find out, in the eyes (mouths) of Acadiana, what foods simply taste better a tiny bit burnt or charred.
