Popular New Orleans Restaurant May Open Lafayette Location Next Week

Drago's was originally expected to open in late September but is now slated to open next week.

Drago's owner Tommy Cvitanovich says he can't wait until next week when he hopes to open the latest Drago's location in the former home of Mellow Mushroom and various other restaurants through the years. Cvitanovich says the restaurant will be like the other Drago's in Louisiana and that he believes the food, service, and atmosphere his restaurants offer will beat the 'curse' of the building on the corner of Johnston and Doucet.
