(Lafayette) The on-air Polyester Power Hour Show (PPH) airs every Friday morning on 99.9 KTDY with CJ and Ellen in the Morning. It celebrates the official start of the weekend with music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. To celebrate the on-air show's 25th anniversary, a 25th Anniversary Polyester Power Hour Party was held at Nitetown located in Downtown Lafayette Friday, Oct. 28.

The night was filled with unparalleled excitement, music, fun and prizes as the magical retro experience made its way back to the original location of the first Polyester Power Hour Party over 20 years prior.

This year's special edition 25th Anniversary Polyester Power Hour Party returned to its birthplace, Nitetown, located in downtown Lafayette at 524 Rue Jefferson. Where over twenty years ago the very first PPH party exploded onto the downtown scene. The evening was a modern-day lovefest with everything that made the super 70s and 80s the ultimate time to be alive.

The evening included Lafayette's premiere retro DJ Super Dave, a costume contest where the winner received a cruise for two on the KTDY Mardi Gras Cruise 2023, prizes and a balloon drop presented by Dobel Tequila.
