Most Expensive Home For Sale In Lafayette Right Now On Zillow

Here's a listing for a home on the Zillow website (that you probably can't afford) for sale in Lafayette, Louisiana right now.

Let's take a tour of the home.

A beautiful home, on Steiner Road, adjacent to River Ranch (that means "next to" River Ranch), for only..... are you ready for it?.....  $2.5M.  That's "million", with an "m".  Or, if you want to estimate the mortgage (the monthly note, for other people like me who don't know what a mortgage is because we can't afford a house), about $9,459.00.  Per month (estimate supplied by Zillow).

At that price, without buying gas, groceries or toilet paper, I would be able to live in the house 3 months out of the year!

Let's start the tour in the kitchen:

I'd be able to fry lots of bologna on this stove!

I could take 4.5 baths each day, all in different rooms in the house!

The listing on Zillow.com gives a description of the house:

A full wet bar.  Hmph.  After paying for the  house, the only "wet" in that bar would be a result of me seeing the mortgage each month.

Anyway, how's this for an outdoor kitchen (that costs more than both of my vehicles did, combined)?

Another amenity is the fact that you are right on the river.  Very handy, because you'll need access to the boat that brings in the drugs you'll need to sell to afford the house.

All joking aside, this is a beautiful home.  One that I, in my lifetime, will only be able to dream about so, if you happen to buy this house, invite me over for a beer, as it would be a dream come true.  I promise not to spill on the slip cover on the sofa.
