LUS Lifts Boil Water Advisory Issued For Section Of Cameron Street

UDPATE: LUS has lifted the Boil Water Advisory.

Residents and businesses in the 4800 block of Cameron Street are under a Boil Water Advisory issued by Lafayette Utilities System following repair work on a water line during which water pressure dropped significantly today.

"Customers in the affected area need to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking," says an LUS press release.

This advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
