Lafayette’s Team Phenomena from Comeaux High School Wins FIRST Bayou Regional

Congratulations to Team Phenomena 3616, based at Comeaux High School in Lafayette, Louisiana. Ranked #1 after the conclusion of qualifying rounds at the FIRST Bayou Regional at the Pontchartrain Center on March 25, 2017, Phenomena chose Team 281 from Greenville, SC and Team 3937 from Searcy, AR to join them in the Red Alliance.  After their robot died in Round 2, Team 3616 successfully completed repairs during the break between matches, and made a PHENOMENAL comeback in Match 3 of the finals. Phenomena and the Red Alliance got the W and are now headed to the FIRST Robotics World Championships!
