According to the facebook post Meche and a friend were shopping at TJ Maxx when they noticed two Hispanic men, each wearing an earpiece, behaving suspiciously. The first man, who was in the women's section, appeared to be getting unusually close to female shoppers. The second man was spotted in the kids' section, exhibiting erratic behavior such as picking up items without genuine interest and quickly changing aisles.

What alarmed Meche the most was the apparent communication between the second man and someone on the other end of his phone. It was clear that he was not having a casual conversation but was instead issuing commands.

Feeling uneasy about the situation, Meche and her friend decided to leave the kids' section. While one of them went to the bathroom, the other waited outside. It was then that they observed the man from the women's section closely following her friend.

Meche told her friend that she was going to get a manager. This unexpected move led the suspicious individual to promptly leave and reunite with his companion, who had been tracking them from the kids' section.

Fortunately, vigilant store security personnel had been monitoring the situation. They promptly escorted Meche and her friend out of the store and informed them that they were already keeping an eye on these individuals.

Lafayette residents are encouraged to take precautions when shopping, especially when accompanied by children. Keep an eye on your surroundings, stay close to your loved ones, and report any unusual behavior to store management or security.

This is one of many incidents that have caused shoppers in the Lafayette area to feel uneasy.
