Happy Birthday, ‘Slowhand’!

I've been an Eric Clapton fan since I was 12. My oldest brother brought home an album by a band called Cream. When I heard 'Sunshine Of Your Love', I was hooked! Eric is the only person to be inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame three times.

In his 50 year career, he's won 18 Grammy Awards. The list of artists with whom he's worked is long and diverse, including The Beatles, BB King, Phil Collins, Lionel Richie, Johnny Cash, Robbie Robertson, and the late Frank Zappa.  I've made road trips as long as 3,000 mile round trip to attend his concerts. He's 67 today, and recently purchased a custom Ferrari for a reported 4.8 million dollars. Happy Birthday, 'Slowhand'!
