Historic Dance Hall in Carencro, Louisiana Now Left to Rubble
Another historic dance hall in South Louisiana is gone.
While the venue in Carencro, Louisiana hasn't been open for business in years, many in the small community are mourning the final images of the building that was once "Wranglers."
Having never been there I have had to rely on many who have in the past, and everyone commenting on the building that was once the house to the popular bar says that many memories, some good and some not so good,
One person on social media noted that this building, which is no longer on University Dr., was responsible for many breakups and hangovers.
If you travel between Lafayette and Carencro in the days ahead, take one final look at the structure that is left in the rubble and thank Wrangler's for the many memories.
It's always sad to see some of these historic dance halls left in rubble, but time marches on.
Here are a few posts that I came across on social media from my friend Cody Guidry. Be sure to check out some of the comments on this post.
Apparently, this was the place to be on Thursday nights and after the Carencro Mardi Gras parade when this venue was open.
