An iconic live music hall in Lafayette, Louisiana, will reopen soon and reportedly be under new management.

For a few weeks, there have been rumblings that Artmosphere in Lafayette on Johnston St. would be re-opening, and now that appears to be the case.

A recent social media post hinted that the small bar would be reopening, and now the venue has shared that announcement on its own Facebook page. In addition, the marquee on the building advertises that they are hiring.

Recentlly, we were standing in front of the iconic music hall for a Mardi Gras parade, and it was sad to see it closed, but with this news, it is exciting for music fans and artists.

We've reached out to the venue in Lafayette for an announcement on their reopening, but we have yet to hear back from management at Artmosphere. When we hear about their reopening date, we will share the information here and on this station's mobile app.

Congratulations to the new management team at Artmosphere, and we wish you nothing but success in the near future.
