24 years ago - In 1995, a jury in Houston convicted Yolanda Saldivar for the shooting death of Selena, Queen of Tejano music. She was sentenced to life in prison three days later and is eligible for parole in 30 years. Selena died on March 31st, 1995. She was 23.
