I was scrolling through Twitter and I came across this lady's Tweet about not letting the food on her plate touch.

Sandy doesn't let her macaroni and cheese touch her green beans. She doesn't let her corn touch her ham. And I am sure that she wouldn't let her cabbage touch her spaghetti (it really IS a great combo).

Brumotactillophobia is what the fear of allowing different foods on your plate to touch is called. According to Food NDTV, brumotactillophobia is a mild form of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

But what about the green beans that have ham in them? Or spaghetti noodles with the sauce on it? Or the bread with meat and cheese on it? Do those fall under the brumotactillophobia umbrella?

I'm not certain how brumotactillophobia works, but I'm thinking I don't have it. I love french fries in my Frosty. I love (raw) cabbage in my spaghetti. I love corn in my rice and gravy.

I guess I don't mind my food touching because I know that, eventually, it'll all be swimming in my stomach in a few minutes anyway.
