The family of Bronston Drew, a Crowley Police Officer who lost his home to a fire, will be the beneficiaries of a cook-off on Saturday, June 6, 2015.

The event is an "Anything Goes" Black Pot Cook-Off, meaning that if you cook it in a black pot, it's eligible for the competition!

The event is being organized by the Blue Knights (Louisiana Chapter 14), a non-profit fraternal organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement officers who enjoy riding motorcycles.

The event will take place at Cajun Harley-Davidson, and the Cajun HOG Chapter will be sponsoring a team, as well as issuing a challenge to all motorcycle clubs across Acadiana to do the same.

The competition is free, with no registration fees for teams (find the rules below).  Monies will be raised by the sale of beverages and wristbands ($5 wristband for all-you-care-to-eat), and all proceeds will go to the Drew family to help defray the costs associated with losing their home.

If you would like to compete in the cook-off, contact Bobby Falcon at blueknightslafayette@yahoo.com or call Cajun Harley-Davidson at 337-289-3030.  Click here to see cook-off rules.
