Byron Schlenker Breaks World Record For Widest Tongue [PICS/VIDEO]

Byron Schlenker, an easy going guy from Syracuse, was just certified by Guinness for having the widest tongue.  It's more than three inches wide!

Schlenker, 46, and father of 3, beat Jay Sloot who held the record for the widest tongue back in 2012.  Schlenker daughter examined her dad's tongue and thought he could beat the 2012 record.  So Byron contacted Guinness Book of World Records and sure 'nuff, he won.  His tongue measures 8.3cm wide.

He said he had to stick his tongue out for 3 hours while Guinness certified the results and since the tongue is a muscle, Schlenker claims his tongue is actually wider now.
