A Baton Rouge restaurant where murdered LSU student Allie Rice worked is offering a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for her death.

LSU Student Allie Rice Murdered In Baton Rouge

On the morning of September 16, 2022, LSU student Allie Rice was found shot to death in her car on Government Street in Baton Rouge.

According to Baton Rouge Police, the victim's car was stopped at a railroad crossing with multiple visible bullet holes as authorities arrived on the scene shortly after 2 a.m.

Later in the day on 09/16/22 LSU released the following statement -

The LSU community is saddened to hear of senior Allison Rice being killed overnight. Her family and friends are in our thoughts, and we encourage anyone who may have more information about this crime to contact Baton Rouge Police.

 

Any of her friends and classmates that would like to speak with someone about this or needs help processing this loss can contact the Mental Health Service in the Student Health Center (225-578-8774).

Now, Baton Rouge restaurant The Shed has released a statement stating they're offering a $10,000 reward for anyone who has information that leads to an arrest in this case.

"A restaurant where slain LSU student Allie Rice worked is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to her killer's capture.

Staff at The Shed on Burbank Drive told WBRZ on Tuesday that it plans to give the money to anyone whose tip ultimately leads to a conviction in Rice's killing."
