Fan Trolls LSU Football Coach Lane Kiffin While on Beach
(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - As the 2026 college football season approaches, the tension is growing between LSU and Ole Miss.
If you haven't heard by now, Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss as their head football coach while the team was preparing to contend for a National Championship. He left Ole Miss after LSU offered him the head coaching job, and he accepted.
As you may expect, Kiffin's departure from Ole Miss did not go over well with many of their fans, and many have one game and date circled on the calendar: when Ole Miss hosts the LSU Tigers in Oxford, Mississippi.
Date for LSU and Ole Miss Football Game
LSU travels to Ole Miss with its new head coach, Lane Kiffin, on Saturday night, September 19, 2026. The game is scheduled to kick off at 6;30 central.
So, as the teams prepare for their upcoming season, many coaches are getting one last vacation in after Spring football, and apparently, Coach Kiffin was on the beach when this Ole Miss fan recognized him.
The fan approaches Kiffin, and the new LSU coach seems fine taking a selfie with this grown man, and suddenly the man reminds Kiffin that Ole Miss will be LSU in September. To avoid any confrontation, Kiffin walks off, and the Ole Miss fan is left standing there llike he won a game or something for his trolling efforts.

Here's a video of the fan's interaction with Lane Kiffin. We warn you: some find the language in this video offensive. Now, while some question whether AI was used to produce this, others say they saw the LSU coach on this beach the day the video below was taken.
Now, if this looks familiar, it's because LSU Coach Ed Orgeron was once trolled in a similar way when an Alabama Crimson Tide approached him while he was out on a jog.
The difference here is that Coach O didn't walk away; he gave the rude fan a lecture. Remember this one?
