Christmas trees are such a beautiful site this time of year. I wish we kept them up all year, a 'Christmas' trees. Depending on who you talk to, it's almost sacrilegious to have a fake Christmas tree. To others, it's the only way to go.

I want to give my hard earned money to local businesses and I hope you do too. But there are some locals who beg me to shop local, but when I go into their stores I get my feelings hurt.

I was talking to a friend a few days ago about families and all the craziness that happens between family members. With Thanksgiving tomorrow, many families will be getting together under one roof. You know what that means? Turkey, dressing, cranberry and chaos.

When I see someone with tattoos, I don't know what to do? I like some tattoos, some I don't. Like clothes, some accentuate a person, some do not. So when I see someone with tattoos that catch my eye, I want to admire them. But it gets weird.

What are we going to do with people who cough and don't cover their mouths? As we go into the cold and flu winter months when people are closed up in their homes and offices, what do we do with people who just cough and cough?

I guess I'm a bit of a pessimist. I can walk into a beautiful, most perfect house and if asked what I thought of it, my response would probably be, "Oh I loved it, except for that tiny crack in the living room ceiling". Pessimist or not, perfectionist or not, it will drive you insane. It does me.

Am I the only one who has a problem with drivers staying in their own lane. What is going on? Do cars have too many gadgets these days? Are cellphones the problem? I find myself in close calls almost every time I get behind the wheel.

You've seen 'um, those people who look perfect. They have everything. The perfect marriage, the perfect family, the perfect house and car. You wish you were them. Stop that! Those are usually some of the most messed up people on the planet.

To launch an arrow, you have to pull the string way back before letting go. That's exactly how life is. When you have things happen that set you back, don't sweat it, soon you will be launched into something amazing.

Are you angry about something? First, ask yourself if the emotion is even worth your time. If it isn't, let it go. If anger is worth your time, deal with the problem in a constructive way. Be respectful, talk, don't throw stones.

America, your freedom of speech is GONE! As a nation, if two people or two groups disagree, one side has to get their way or all hell breaks lose. What happened to the days when we could disagree, but still have a civil and respectful discussion about a topic and walk away friends?

I was called every name you can think of. And not the good ones. I was laughed at and made fun of growing up. Tonight, I talk about growing up being bullied.
