I can't believe I'm watching a report on CBS about child abuse in the church. Asking forgiveness for all clergy who have abused children in the church. The church, a place where all should be able to feel safe and sheltered. None of the Bishops who abused children have been punished in any way. Others have just been moved from church to church. One priest who abused children was not allowed to teach Sunday school. That was his punishment! I can't believe what I'm watching. I always knew that the clergy of the church were JUST MEN, yes even the Pope, but I wanted to believe in these special men. We aren't talking about one or two children either, there are hundreds and hundreds. The church is just starting to acknowledge there is a problem.

I couldn't help but notice when the little girl who was recently abducted by her father was found, Facebook was ablaze with comments like "Thank You Jesus", "Thank God", "Thank You Lord", etc.  But just who are you talking to?

I'm sure I'm not the only one that was told, "God's gonna punish you for that", growing up.  Let's talk about this for a second.
