Eben Alexander, a Harvard-educated brain surgeon, never believed in out-of-body experiences, something changed his mind.

In 2008 Alexander came down with a sever case of bacterial meningitis which caused him to go into a coma for seven days.  He was completely comatose.

Alexander says he journeyed into a magical "odyssey" while in the coma.  During which time he believes he visited heaven.  It was during this period that Alexander claims he glimpsed the afterlife, which he describes as “a place of butterflies, joy and big puffy pink clouds.”  He also says he heard “a sound like a glorious chant” and was accompanied by a beautiful woman.

He went from a non-believer to a believer.  What do you believe?  Did he really visit heaven or was his mind playing tricks on him?
