Where’s Debbie Ray? She Opened a B&B in Alaska

Not a day goes by that I don't think of my friend Debbie Ray. I learned so much from her over the years (some stuff about radio, but mostly about how to treat others), and the radio station still isn't the same without her.

People often ask me "Where can I find Debbie Ray now?", and I tell them that she and Dave moved to Alaska. Some people look at me like I grew a third horn when I tell them this bit of information.

They had been visiting Alaska a few times a year in the years closest to her retirement and fell in love with the place. So much so, they decided to relocate after retirement.

Yesterday, Deb posted to her Facebook page that they were now "Open for Business".

The home they purchased in Alaska has a finished basement, so it didn't take much (in the grand scheme of things) to turn that basement space into a room to rent.

So if you find yourself on the Kenai Peninsula and are in need of a bed for the night (or week), here you go:

"Sunnyside Hideaway". I like it.
