What You Need To Know About The Scott Mardi Gras Parade

With Mardi Gras in full swing, one of Acadiana's favorites, the Scott Mardi Gras parade, happens today. Here's what you need to know.

The Scott Mardi Gras parade rolls today (02/24) at 1pm. Streets will close at noon.

To make it a safe and fun Mardi Gras, here are a few rules you need to know.

1) No open or concealed weapon carry is permitted.
2) No vulgar or obscene music will be allowed, either from the float or from spots along   the route.
3) Pets must be on a leash.
4) No glass bottles are permitted.
5) No parking on I-10 ramps.
