The Elvis candlelight vigil goes on for hours as thousands file through the famous gates of Graceland sometimes until sunrise.

The candlelight vigil is held every year as part of Elvis Week at Presley's home Graceland on August 15. Elvis was found dead by his fiance at the time, Ginger Alden, in his upstairs bathroom.

This year Elvis week started on August 9, 2022, and will end this Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Fans have been treated to an unforgettable line-up of concerts, conversations and tributes to the King of Rock 'n' Roll including Elvis Presley in Concert featuring Elvis on screens backed by a live band.
