VFW Women’s Auxillary To Hold Huge Garage Sale

Sunday, September 7th is the date for a giant INDOOR garage sale at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Hall, next to Morvant’s in Youngsville, starting at 7am.  The sale is being put on by the VFW Women's Auxillary.

The proceeds from this sale will go to Veterans in our area.  Many are in nursing homes without family or any family nearby.  These men and women need to know that they haven’t been forgotten.  These veterans, both active and retired, deserve our respect and admiration.  Some of them are getting on in years and need our help.

You can help in two ways:  1) donate any items that you no longer want/need in your home/office to the event.  Anything from clothing to housewares, books to computers, electronics, appliances, collectibles - anything that is clean and serviceable and 2) come to the garage sale and buy something!
