Hundreds of people turned out this morning for the Moving Mountains for Emmy fundraiser in Youngsville. It was all to support the family of 3-year-old Emmalynn Quebedeaux who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer. Organizers used almost every available square foot at the Creme de la Creme event center. From fun jumps and the Bubble Bus to vendors and a silent auction, the support for a little girl in the fight of her life was palpable.

We know Acadiana is a giving place and we have a way of wrapping our arms around those in need. Just a look at the donated auction items, baked goods, and gift cards shows exactly how much support for Emmy Quebedeaux and her recovery there is.

The theme really was fun for a good cause. With face-painting inside the beautiful Creme de la Creme ballroom proved to be a respite from the high 90s outside.
