Landfall occurred this morning in Cameron, Louisiana, to our west. Considering that Acadiana is on the East side of the weather, we were expecting a lot of rain, but here in Lafayette, it hasn't been all that bad. Our neighbors to the south and west have suffered damage, but the Hub City seems to be taking the water we've received pretty well.  This video was shot at about 8 AM on August 30, 2017, and  the river has gone down since Monday (click HERE to see that video.)
