In Our Own Back Yard: Vermilion River And Bayou Tortue
There are beautiful places here in these grand United States, and many of them are in our own back yard.
While boating on the Vermilion River recently, I took the time (over 13 relaxing minutes) to stop and watch the sunset. This view is from the end of Runway 22L:
Just past the airport, headed north, the Vermilion River intersects with Bayou Tortue. And just down Bayou Tortue is Charlo Lake. Here are some shots from that ride.
There is ample natural beauty right here in our own back yard, you just have to slow down a little bit and look for it.
