Hurricane Harvey, which caused such devastation is Texas, has made a trip back out to the Gulf of Mexico and will make landfall a second time, this time as a tropical storm, in Louisiana. Although landfall is expected tomorrow morning tin Cameron, Louisiana, to our west, Acadiana is expecting a lot of rain over the next day or two. I've been watching the Vermilion River (or Bayou Vermilion) rise and fall over the last few days, and hoping that we don't experience another flood event like we had last year. This video was shot at about noon on August 29, 2017, and  the river has gone down since yesterday (click HERE to see that video.)
