Two Die In Crash On Highway 95
Two people are dead after a crash on Austria Raod last night.
Duson Police Chief Kip Judice says that 56-year-old Edna Coffman of Lafayette was driving southbound on that highway when she crossed the center line and hit 60-year-old Frederick Bihm's truck with severe force.
Edna Coffman and her passenger, 31-year-old Matthew Williams of Mire died in the crash.
Mr. Bihm and his passenger were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The crash investigatin is ongoing and they are being helped by several agencies in trying to determine what all led to this crash.
There were no obvious signs of impairment but routine toxicology tests are being run.
