Three Acadiana communities have been named to a list of the 15 best places in which to live in Louisiana.

Movoto.com reports The City of Scott is the second best place to live in the Bayou State, behind only Inniswold.  The list was compiled on the basis of seven criteria: Weather, Quality of life (Cost of living, Median household income, Median home price, and Teacher per student ratio), Commute time, Total crime, Unemployment rate, Total amenities, and Tax rates. Lafayette, and Youngsville placed #11, and # 15 respectively.
