Sears just announced their infamous Sears Wish Book is making a return this year. First launched in 1933, the Sears Wish Book was a kid's direct line to Santa. Canceled in 2011 so that Sears could focus more on online sales, it's coming back this year! The highly-anticipated Superman film "Man of Steel" (I'll be providing a review of the film on Friday!) debuts this Friday, June 13th, and numerous businesses have eagerly participated in the film's promotion. Among those businesses is Sears, who is tying in their Father's Day promotions with "Man of Steel" and appearing in the film itself.

When I packed up to head for Lafayette and USL, the number one item on my list of must-haves was a perma-prest ribcord bedspread from Sears for my new dorm room. Decorating my first 'home away from home' was my top priority! A new survey from Sam's Club shows that today's college-bound students have different needs with electronics topping the list.
